Thérèse Little Flower Necklace
Item No. 724SSC4
Origin: Lisieux, France, c. 1958
Saint Thérèse has long been called the "Little Flower" and this pendant brings that metaphor to life. On the front is a relief profile of St. Thérèse in a gorgeous shade of teal bleu surrounded by tones of deep cobalt blue. Reverse is the Cathedral of Lisieux. The pendant is .3 inches in diameter, very small. It's set on a light-catching silver rope link chain, 16 inches, extendable to 22 inches long. Chain made in Italy. See pictures for size references. St. Thérese is one of the most venerated saints of the past two centuries.
Trésors blue are tiny pieces of French art and devotion. Also known as "Médailles De Pelerinage" or "Medals of Pilgrimage," these medals have had voyages from another generation, another life, another country. The deep "ultramarine" blue is the sacred color of Mary, representing truth, hope, and faith since 200 AD. People of faith still undertake pilgrimages as a way of deepening their religious devotion, seeking miracles, spiritual healing, forgiveness, or for the journey itself. The experience is not solely about reaching the end, it is about what is endured, enjoyed, and learned along the way.
All trésors are pre-packaged for gifting and shipping is free in the U.S. on all Trésor Bleu items.
