Beautiful gold relief image of Our Lady of Lourdes in relief, surrounded by pale bleu pearl enamel.  On the reverse is a classic relief image of the Apparition of Lourdes, which occurfed over a six month period in 1856 starting on February 11.   Mary appeared to a 14-year old St. Bernadette 18 times.  Since that time, the water at the Lourdes Grotto in France has been a holy place of healing, faith, forgiveness and countless miracles.  The design on this medal was perfected by a monastery near Lourdes, France.  Choose from traditional rope chain or more modern paperclip chain, as shown.
