Beautiful round, hand-painted image of Mary with a black background. Our Lady on the front in deep tones of sapphire, cobalt and navy blue. The reverse is also hand-engraved, "LOURDES". This medal is .8 inches in diameter. The medal was sold and blessed at the Grotto at Lourdes, c. 1940. It hangs on a silver link chain, 18 inches long, adjustable. Chain made in Italy.
