Trésor Bleu Exclusive
Item No. D100.107
France, c. 1958
Beautiful, large silver médaille of the Apparition at Lourdes blessed and procured in the 100th anniversary year, 1958. This unique medal of pilgrimage has an intricate relief image of the Apparition on one side, and the prayer of Bernadette on the other. Mary appeared before St. Bernadette at the Grotto at Lourdes in 1858, a site that has become the most renowned pilgrimage location in the world, where its waters are said to be responsible for countless miracles, healings, and forgiveness. We've paired the medal with a modern gold cross pendant, and both pendants hang from a 10mm gold ring, dropped from a 14/20 gold filled chain in your choice of length (16, 18, or 20 inches).
Trésors blue pieces of vintage art and devotion. Also known as "Médailles De Pelerinage" or "Medals of Pilgrimage," these little medals have had voyages from another generation, another life, another country. People of faith still undertake pilgrimages as a way of deepening their religious devotion, seeking miracles, spiritual healing, forgiveness, or for the journey itself. The experience is not solely about reaching the end, it is about what is endured, enjoyed, and learned along the way.
All trésors bleu are pre-packaged for gifting and shipping is free within the U.S. on all items.
