Rare and intricate, hand-painted in four colors, this pendant features a serene profile of a young Virgin Mary with a gold halo in relief. The reverse is a more detailed relief image of the Apparition at Lourdes, which took place in 1858 in Lourdes France. The medal was blessed at Lourdes in c.1950. Measures .9 inches in diameter. The chain is 18 inches long, silver, 14/gold filled rope pattern, made in Italy.
