Unique, beautifully crafted and preserved medal with a perfectly preserved profile image of Mary in two tones of "bleu" on the front, and the Apparition at Lourdes on reverse. The unique filigree border is stunning and well-preserved. The necklace is set on a silver cable chain, 17 inches long. The original Apparition at Lourdes, occurred in 1858 with Saint Bernadette as the 14 year old witness. This medal is .5 inches in diameter, .6 inches with bale.
