Trésor Bleu Exclusive
Origin: Italy, c. 1905
Beautiful historic and Catholic significance packed into this antique medal. One side features the words in Latin: "O Maria Sine Labeconcepta OPN," or Mary, Conceived without Sin, Pray for Us. On the reverse is Pope Leone XIII who reigned from 1873-1903. Pope Leone XIII was known as the "Rosary Pope" because of his devotion to Our Lady. Copper medal in beautiful antique condition. Note that all medals from this era had perpendicular "bale" on the top. This medal is authentic and its beautiful wear and tear are a testament to its unique history. .8 inches in diameter, slightly bigger than a dime.
