Pristine Miraculous Medal in high quality silver, authentic rare antique. Exquisite openwork surround this unique but beautiful variation on the Miraculous Medal. The pendant is set on an 18" chain of genuine freshwater pearls, and a drop pendant bead connector in sterling silver, .2 inches. A precious original engraving is on the back, "Noeme, 3 de Juin, 1906." Translated: Naomi, June 3, 1906. A pre-World War I treasure to be passed down to future generations.
The Miraculous Medal (French: Médaille Miraculeuse), also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, originated by Saint Catherine Labouré following her apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rue du Bac, Paris, France in 1830.
