Trésor Bleu Exclusive - Rare, One of a Kind
Beautiful, large, French enamel, round medal featuring white enamel on sides and a beautiful image of Jesus comforting a child. The color is a unique taupe/chocolate and white. On the reverse is a "C.A." or "A.C." monogram and the date, May 17, 1925. This medal is .9 inches in diameter. The medal hangs on a square box chain, our most popular chain, 925 sterling silver, which catches the light beautifully. The necklace has no clasp and can be pulled over the head, then adjusted from 28 inches (maximum) to choker size (16 inches or less). There is a .8 inch silver bead drop between the chain and the pendant.
Trésors blue are tiny pieces of French art and devotion. Also known as "Médailles De Pelerinage" or "Medals of Pilgrimage," these little medals have had voyages from another generation, another life, another country. People of faith still undertake pilgrimages as a way of deepening their religious devotion, seeking miracles, spiritual healing, forgiveness, or for the journey itself. The experience is not solely about reaching the end, it is about what is endured, enjoyed, and learned along the way.
