Trésor Bleu Exclusive, French Antique
Alsatian Stork World War I Commemoration Medal Solid Silver Souvenir Pendant French Hallmarks. This piece of commemoration art pays homage to the French and the liberation of the Alsace from German rule after World War I. Germany lost World War I and the Treaty of Versailles returned Alsace to France in 1919. In WWII, Alsace was again part of Germany. Alsace has long been known as a save harbor for their storks, a symbol of fidelity and fertility, and of course, delivering babies, for hundreds of years. Beautifully detailed. The silver content is at least 800/1000 or solid silver. This is a rare and beautiful medal. A great addition to any collection. Measurements: 78 x .98 inches (stork medal only). It is paired with a small Lourdes connector pendant (.3 inches) for a unique look. Chain can be adjusted from choker to a full 24 inches long.
Trésors blue are tiny pieces of French art, history and devotion. Shipping is free within the U.S. and optional gift wrapping is available.
