Lapis Mala Bracelet/Necklace
Item № MS100
Prayer beads, Mala bead necklaces and Rosaries all have an historical connection dating back to the early 1st century AD. This bracelet, which can also be worn as a necklace, has dark and light denim lapis lazuli beads in the classic and symbolic count of 108. Because it is hand-tied and uses durable but stretchy jewelry cord, it can be wound around any size wrist, or hung around your neck. Lapis lazuli is the stone first used to make the pigment of paint for the Marian bleu we see in our Trésor Bleu medals. Bleu is the color of Mary, of Truth, and of Good.
This piece is 28 inches in length with a brass accent.
